One of the most humbling and stressful things as a Photographer is being chosen to capture a life altering moment. I'm not talking abut a 'Lets get the family together and say Cheese' kind of moment but one that cannot be a re-shoot. A moment that is gone as soon as it happens. There is no do over. Outside of remembrance photography, which I will save for another mini-blog, I can think of two such events... a wedding and a birth.
As in life, birthing babies is not a perfectly scheduled event; one must adjust and adjust BIG TIME! This little one was no different. In fact, she pushed the limits of Mom, Dad and Grandmas alike! Apparently, she did not get the memo that she was to be born the day before nor did she cooperate in allowing Mom the experience of a natural childbirth. She was on her own time!
After all was said and done a Princess was born into so much love it truly brought this photographer to tears which makes it quite difficult to take photographs with steady hands!
Welcome to the world Sara! Congratulations Mom & Dad and big sister Chelsea!
